• We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, including the creation of the world in six, 24-hour days.

• We believe in the sanctity of life. A child is a person at conception.
• We believe a marriage is between one man and one woman only (Matthew 19:4).
• We believe in displaying the redemptive love of Jesus Christ toward all others, as much as it is possible with us to do so. We do not condemn those entangled in sin, but rather look for ways to help them establish biblical reconcilation and forgiveness if they will allow us to do so.
• We believe in the nation of Israel's right to exist. We believe the revenant nation of Israel is a 2,800-year-old fulfilled prophecy and a sign to the nations that God is on His throne and that the Bible is the true and eternally trustworthy Word of God.

• We are not a "tongues speaking" church, in public worship services. Especially the wide variety of "ecstatic utterances" heard in some churches. That kind of "language" or "tongue" is found nowhere in the Bible, in context.

• We believe that marriage is between one man and one woman only. The Bible teaches that God's judgment comes upon those who altar this truth. There is no other biblical "arrangement" for marriage. (Matt. 19:3ff).

There are two primary ways that we can help you or a loved one with addiction problems.

1. Our church - HICKORY HAMMOCK BAPTIST CHURCH in Milton, FL. has an on-campus Addiction Recovery meeting and class called Chainbreakers. It meets several times a week. This ministry is for those with addictions, or for those who have a loved one with an addiction and need deeper understanding about the matter of addiction and addiction recovery.

2. We have a deep ministry alliance with Redeemed Ministries in Cleveland, AL.

Pastor Carl's son - Brandon Gallups - is the current Sr. Pastor at Wacissa Community Church in Wacissa, Florida - just south and east of Tallahassee. Pastor Brandon used to serve at Redeemed Church as Associate Pastor and is a long-time addiction ministry specialist, and was the Director of the addiction program, working under the senior pastor Chris Gortney. My ministry at HHBC, Brandon's Ministry at Waccissa Community Church, and Redeemed Ministry's Pastor Chris Gortney are all deeply connected in addiction recovery ministry and the Redeemed Recovery In-House Program. Redeemed ministries runs a highly respected and renowned in-house addiction program. They minister to people from all over the nation, and they often have people in their program coming from our own region.
